Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Klaro Services ("Klaro", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
Klaro provides tax estimation tools, contract review, compliance monitoring, and related professional productivity software. The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. Klaro Tax is a tax calculation and tracking tool. It does not constitute professional tax advice, legal advice, or accounting services. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your tax filings. Consult a licensed CPA or tax attorney for professional advice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
4. Payments and refunds
Klaro Tax is available for a one-time fee of $39.99 (3-year access), renewable at $19.99/year. Professional suite plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Payments are processed by Razorpay. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or at Klaro's sole discretion within 7 days of purchase if the service has not been materially used. 5. Data and privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service. You grant Klaro a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.
6. Prohibited uses
You may not: (a) use the Service for illegal purposes; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data; (c) reverse engineer or copy the Service; (d) submit false or misleading information; (e) use the Service to harass or harm others.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. KLARO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT TAX CALCULATIONS ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC TAX SITUATION. KLARO IS NOT A LICENSED TAX PREPARER, CPA, OR ATTORNEY.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KLARO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. KLARO'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS.
9. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under AAA Commercial Rules, except for claims that qualify for small claims court.
10. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
